AMBITION is WCTE’s one-day intensive — the same staff, organization, and positive room you already know from our competitions, built for training instead of scoring.

Dancers work with master instructors in an intimate setting. Studio directors get time with faculty. Everyone leaves with new material, new friends, and a lift.

The Day

Five classes. Two rooms. One showcase.

Teachers place dancers by age and level. Additional rooms are added as needed. Styles vary by city.

Styles may include Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Hip-Hop / Funk, Musical Theater, Lyrical, Latin / Ballroom, Improvisation, Leaps & Turns. Come prepared for jazz, tap, hip-hop, and contemporary. Faculty lineup is sent with your pre-event email.

Workshop Rates

Simple pricing. Same day for every dancer.

Independents are welcome. When you register as an independent, use INDEPENDENT + the dancer’s name as the studio name. Early-bird pricing is for studio / group registration only, 21+ days out, paid in full.

Registration deadline is 14 days before the event. No personal checks. All major cards accepted (transaction fee applies). Studio discount packages: call 954-744-1556. Fees are non-refundable; unused dancers receive a studio credit toward a future Ambition date (not for day-of or after-the-event cancellations).

Dancers, directors, observers.

Dancers

Take class in the level you’re registered for. Wristbands stay on all day. Ages 7+ recommended; teachers place students.

Directors & teachers

Registered studio representatives may attend, take notes, or dance in any classroom.

Observers

Must purchase an observer wristband. Children 6 and under are free only with a paid observer or registered teacher. Pre-purchase bands — door sales only if space allows.

Scholarships

Awarded at WCTE regionals. Redeemed here.

If you received an Ambition scholarship or invitation at a 2026 WCTE event, register online, then email the office so we can apply the award. Scholarships are presented during the closing showcase.

Good to know

Wristbands, photos, and the fine print.

Arrival

A studio director, teacher, or parent picks up the studio packet at registration.
Confirmation with schedule and faculty goes out about one week prior.
Wristbands must be worn all day. Lost band replacement is $35.

In the room

Bags stay against the perimeter of the classroom.
No video or photography during class. Photos are fine between classes and at the showcase (no flash).
Dancers under 16 must be accompanied by a legal adult.

Payment

Register online with a credit card. No phone or fax entries. No personal checks.
Registration is confirmed when paid in full. Payments are made to World-Class Talent Experience, Inc.
On-site registration is card-only, space permitting.

Credits

Entry fees are non-refundable.
If a dancer cannot attend, a credit is issued to the studio account for a future Ambition date.
Day-of and after-event cancellations do not receive credit. $35 fee for returned checks.

AMBITION may cancel or relocate a workshop for weather, attendance, or other circumstances. Attendance authorizes WCTE / Ambition to photograph and record the event for promotional use. The host hotel, facilities, and Ambition are not responsible for lost items or injuries. Participating means you accept the inherent risks of performance.
